Fortenza Duo Insecticide

Fortenza Duo is a broad-spectrum seed-applied insecticide containing cyantraniliprole + thiamethoxam. It offers both systemic and soil-residual action to shield young plants from a wide range of chewing and sucking pests.

How It Works

• Dual-mode action:

  • Cyantraniliprole (group 28 diamide) causes muscle paralysis in chewing pests like caterpillars.

  • Thiamethoxam (neonicotinoid) disrupts feeding in sucking pests like aphids 

• Systemic uptake: Seed coating results in uptake through roots, translocation via xylem, and distribution to all aerial tissues 

• Soil protection bulb: Creates an insect-protection zone around germinating seeds

• Protects against early pests such as cutworms, stemborers, fall armyworms, shoot fly, and aphids in maize/corn.

• Strengthens seedling establishment by giving plants a head start without pest damage .

Dosage rates for maize/corn:

• 4 ml/kg of seed for cutworms, stemborer, shoot fly, aphids

• 6 ml/kg for heavy infestations of fall armyworm
