Plesiva is a versatile, dual-action insecticide ideal for controlling both chewing and sucking pests across a wide range of crops. With its systemic and contact efficacy, coupled with resistance-management advantages, it supports sustainable pest control—especially valuable in cotton and chilli production.

Plesiva is a dual-action insecticide formulated as a suspension concentrate (SC) that combines:

  • 7.3% w/w Cyantraniliprole – a systemic diamide that causes paralysis in chewing pests by targeting their ryanodine receptors.

  • 36.4% w/w Diafenthiuron – a contact-based thiourea that disrupts energy metabolism, effective against sucking pests

Plesiva offers broad protection against:

  • Chewing pests: bollworms, fruit borers, caterpillars

  • Sucking pests: aphids, whiteflies, thrips, jassids, mites, pink bollworm.

Key advantages include:

  • Dual-mode action to reduce resistance buildup

  • Systemic movement reaching undersides of leaves

  • Ovicidal (egg-killing) and residual effects

  • Suitable for Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
