Dinkar is a new-generation herbicide jointly developed by Dhanuka Agritech Ltd (India) and Hokko Chemical (Japan) .

DINKAR is a targeted, easy-to-apply solution for transplanted paddy that:

  • Uses ipfencarbazone to inhibit ACCase in weeds pre-emergence.

  • Provides up to 50 days of broad-spectrum weed control.

  • Allows for efficient water management and is safe for rice.

  • Offers cost savings through reduced labor and inputs.

Active Ingredient: Uses ipfencarbazone, a triazolinone compound, acting as an ACCase inhibitor that blocks fatty-acid synthesis in weeds .

How It Works

  • Mode of Action: Pre-emergence herbicide that interrupts lipid biosynthesis in weed seedlings, effectively controlling them even before they emerge .

  • Spectrum & Duration: Broad-spectrum control and Longer Duration of Control

  • Crop Safety: Safe on transplanted rice with minimal phytotoxicity.
