Growing marigold for the flower market? Our Flower Seeds page has marigold seeds of two F1 hybrids. Both are listed on their product pages as Namdhari Seeds varieties:
- NS 1503: bright orange, fully double, ball-shaped flowers
- NS 1501: bright yellow, round, ball-type flowers
Each pack holds 1000 seeds. The NS 1503 page mentions about 8,000 seeds per acre, so work out how many packs your land needs before you order. Pick orange, yellow or both, based on what your buyers ask for.
These seeds suit farmers who supply flowers for garlands, festivals and religious functions. Read the label on the seed packet and follow its sowing and spacing directions.
