Ecoguard Insecticide

 Ecoguard is a broad-spectrum insecticide formulated with Chlorpyrifos 50% EC. It is designed for effective pest control in both agricultural and structural application.

Agricultural Applications

Target Crops & Pests:

• Cotton: Controls bollworms.

• Rice: Effective against stem borer and leaf folder.

• Other Crops: Addresses pests like aphids, cutworms, pod borers, and caterpillars.

Mode of Action:

• Non-systemic insecticide with contact, stomach, and respiratory action.

• Acts by disrupting the nervous system of pests.

Application Guidelines:

• Dosage: 400 ml per acre.

• Method: Dilute in water and apply using a sprayer.

• Frequency: Apply as per pest incidence and crop stage.

Structural Pest Control

Target Pests:

• Termites

• Mosquitoes

• Roundworms

Application Method:

• Dosage: 5 ml per liter of water.

• Usage: Apply to infested areas such as wood structures, crawl spaces, and cracks.

Safety Precautions

• Toxicity: Moderately hazardous to humans and animals.

• First Aid:

  • Administer atropine sulfate (2–4 mg) intravenously every 5–10 minutes until fully atropinized.

  • Administer 1–2 gm of 2-PAM dissolved in 10 cc of distilled water intravenously over 10–15 minutes.

  • If necessary, provide artificial respiration.

• Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from food and feed.

• Handling: Wear protective clothing and avoid inhalation or skin contact.
