Smack Herbicide

Smack - Glufosinate Ammonium Herbicide is a broad-spectrum, non-selective post-emergence herbicide formulated to control a wide range of annual and perennial weeds in various crops and non-crop areas. It contains 13.5% Glufosinate ammonium as the active ingredient

Glufosinate ammonium inhibits the enzyme glutamine synthetase, leading to the accumulation of toxic levels of ammonia in plant cells. This disruption results in rapid cell membrane damage, chlorosis, and necrosis, ultimately causing plant death. As a contact herbicide, it is effective only where it comes into direct contact with the plant. It does not translocate to the roots, making it ideal for targeted weed control.

Recommended Usage

Crops: Tea, Cotton, Orchards (Citrus, Apple, Vineyards), Potato Fields, Rice, Wheat, Corn

Non-Crop Areas: Roadsides, Industrial Sites, Forests, Grasslands

It is effective against a broad spectrum of weeds, including both annual and perennial species
